Vintage Clothes: Dresses & Outfits

Please note: I have listed the size printed in the garment if it was available but the older sizes bear little resemblance to the sizes of today. The small of today would have been a medium. That is why the dimensions are listed. Also, if you notice any typos, please email me at sharonhoover@comcast.net.

1. Vintage 50's cream brocade dress with fur at sleeves. Width of neck at shoulder seams is 5 1/8 inches. Has two darts on either side of breast area. From lower dart at side to lower dart at side on the other side, the dress is 15 1/2 inches wide. Waist is 12 ½ inches wide from side to side. From waist to bottom of dress is 25 ¼ inches. Short sleeves. Fur on sleeves is 2 ¾ inches wide and brown. Skirt part of dress is lined. In very good shape. About a size medium.
2. Vintage 50's elegant black taffeta dress with pale pink beading at neck and full skirt. In excellent shape. Looks to be about a medium to large. Cap sleeves. Probably worn off the shoulder. Elastic waist Lined full skirt with crinoline at the bottom. Falls below the knee. Limited rental.
3. Vintage Flamenco dress. Medium gray cotton with lace and red ribbon. 50's or earlier. Tag reads: "Miss Cane, New York." In very good shape. Looks to be about a size small to medium. Dress flares at bottom with 6 alternating layers of red ribbon and cream lace. Dress is lined and there is crinoline at the bottom. There are 6 gray large fabric buttons down front to the layers of red ribbon and cream lace. Gown is sleeveless and has a v-neckline that is 3 layers of alternating red ribbon and cream lace that is 1 ¾ inches wide. At breast from base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve is 14 ½ inches from side to side. Entire dress from front of collar to bottom of dress is 38 ½ inches long. Limited rental.
4. Vintage 60's or 70's black knit short sleeveless knit dress that I wore on Talk of the Town. Very small. At the neck there are tiny stripes of green, yellow, pink, black purple and blue times two. Same thing is at waist but is kind of an inverted v shape and is 1 1/8 inches wide. Has tiny pastel colored dots on it. From front top of neckline to bottom of dress is 22 ¼ inches. Arm holes are 5 inches from top to bottom.
5. Vintage oriental print sleeveless floor length dress. Lined in medium blue. Background is light grayish. Oriental scene of pink and green. Has 4 large buttons of same material up front that are 1 ¼ inch in diameter. Shoulder seam width is 2 ¼ inches. Breast measured at base of sleeves is 17 inches side to side. Outer shoulder seam across to other outer shoulder seam is 14 inches. Waist is 13 inches wide side to side. From lower button to bottom of dress is 33 ½ inches. Looks to be about a size medium.
6. Fun vintage short 60's or 70's pink textured dress with lime green at neck and bottom. About a size small.
7. Beautiful 20's red flapper dress with red fringe. Has clear rhinestones on spaghetti straps. Probably vintage. About a medium. No tag. Straps are 3 inches long. From base of sleeve across to base of sleeves is 15 ½ at breast. Waist is about 13 inches side to side. From neck at front to bottom of dress is 30 inches. Limited rental.
8. Pretty mocha, silky, satin 20's flapper dress with brown fringe. About a small to medium. I have several hats to match. Has four layers of fringe. There is an 8 inch separation of fringe from bottom of second section of fringe to the third layer. Shoulder seams are 2 ¾ inches wide. Width at the base of sleeves across breast is 17 inches side to side. Each section of fringe is about 5-6 inches long. In very good shape. Limited rental. [Photo]
9. Vintage black velvet strapless floor length dress with an asymmetrical pink strip at the neck. About a size medium. I have several hats that look good with it. Width of top is about 16 inches wide measured side to side. Pink satin strip is 1 inch wide at front. From pink strip to waist is 6 ½ inches. Waist is 13 inches wide measured from side to side. From waist to bottom of dress is 38 1/2 inches long. [Photo]
10. Frosted light green silky 40's floor length dress with full skirt and buttons down the front made of same material. The buttons are tiny and there are 29 of them, all close together. Instead of button holes there are loops made of same material as dress. Gold thread accents throughout. Short puff sleeves. Very small size. I have a pretty vintage hat that looks good with it. In great shape. From collar to sleeve is 4 inches. Collar is 2 ¼ inches wide at shoulder seam. Sleeves are 2 ¼ inches long and 6 inches wide. Waist is gathered and kind of forms a V. From center of waist to bottom of gown is 36 ½ inches long. From side of waist to floor is 38 inches long. At breast all the way around is 33 1/2 inches. Limited rental.
11. Vintage floor length navy velvet long sleeve dress with lace. Probably 60's or 70's. Cream lace at bodice and cuffs. Tag says "Lorrie Deb; San Francisco. Size 11/12." But is more like a small. From the outer shoulder seam to the other outer shoulder seam is 15 ½ inches. 55 ½ from shoulder seam to bottom. In very good shape.
12. Peach colored square dancing dress with lace and piping at bodice and two ruffles at bottom. Three buttons down front. Tag says, "Jeri Bee." Size 12; 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Material of most of the dress is dotted Swiss. Has a crinoline that goes with it.
13. Navy blue dotted Swiss Square dancing dress. Has layers of the dotted navy Swiss alternating with white lace. Has white lace at collar that is ½ inch wide. Three layers of lace on gathered short sleeves. 3 layers of lace at bottom of dress. Dress is probably a medium to large. Has crinoline to wear underneath. At breast from base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve is up to 18 inches wide. From front neckline to bottom of dress is about 35 inches. Shoulder seams are 2 3/8 inch wide. Waist is 13 ½ inches wide from side to side.
14. Black, white & red square dancing dress with crinoline to wear under skirt. Black and white checks; red satin ribbon & white eyelet. From base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve at breast is 21 inches. Very busy with different layers of different prints, etc. Gathered puff short sleeves. Elastic at end of sleeves. Six layers of skirt. Size medium to large.
15. Red and white gingham square dancing dress that also looks like a Swiss Miss outfit. Full skirt of red and white checks. Puffed white gathered sleeves. Eyelet at cuff of sleeves. Has a lace-up type front over white cotton. Eyelet also down front on each side. Tiny flowers of red and blue. Elastic waist is up to 15 inches. From top of shoulder to waist is 17 ¼ inches. Has a ½ inch ribbon about 6 inches over bottom of dress. Breast measures up to 20 inches from base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve. 16 inches from waist to ribbon near bottom. Skirt 23 inches long. Has a crinoline and an apron to wear with it. Size medium to large.
16. Vintage black velvet dress. Back zip; size small. Tag reads "Suzy Perette, NY" Has black satin trim at end of short sleeves, collar and bottom. Pretty small. Length from collar in front to bottom of dress is 35 inches. Very elegant.
17. Vintage light grayish blue cotton dress with lace accents on end of the short sleeves, around collar and down the bodice. Front button. Waist is 12 inches measured flat from side to side. Shoulder seam measured across to other shoulder seam is 13 ¾ inches. Collar is 2 inches wide. From waist to bottom of dress is 26 inches. Breast is 16 inches measured from side to side. Size small to medium.
18. White cotton nightgown with detail over the breast. Limited rental. Long sleeves; Cuffs are 1 ¼ inches long. From outer edge of shoulder seam to outer edge of other shoulder seam is 15 ½ inches. From base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve is 20 inches. Length from front neckline to bottom is about 45 inches. Has five buttons down bodice. Shoulder seam to cuff is 21 inches. 19. Small gray papery feel weaved silk see-through dress From the forties. I have a vintage slip to wear under it. Dress is about 44 inches long. 16 inches across breast measured flat from underarm seam to underarm seam. Waist is 14 inches across measured flat. Measuring sleeve from neckline down sleeve is 12 inches long. Neck is squared off and is 6 inches wide. From waist to bottom of dress is 27 inches. Size small. Limited rental.
20. Beautiful 50's pink chiffon dress with very full skirt and beaded to the waist. Sleeveless. No tag. From inner shoulder seam across to other inner shoulder seam is 13 ¼ inches. Breast from base of sleeve to base of other sleeve is 16 inches. From waist to bottom of dress is 35 inches. In great shape. From front of neckline to bottom of dress is 42 ½ inches. Size medium
21. Floor length vintage satin cream sleeveless gown - It has sort of a bridesmaidy look to it but is pretty. The material crosses from breast to hips. From front of neck to bottom of dress is approx. 48 inches long. Shoulder seams are 3 inches wide. Across breast from base of sleeve to base of other sleeve is 14 ½ inches. Size small to medium.
22. Sea foam green diaphanous chiffon dress. Probably from the 50's or 60's. Wears off the shoulder with cap sleeves. Size small to medium. Floor length. Very full skirt with lots of pleats at waist. Looks like something Samantha or Endora would have worn on Bewitched. From base of sleeve hole to base of sleeve hole, the breast is 13 ¼ inch wide. From waist to bottom of dress is 41 inches. 23. Vintage sleeveless dress. Bodice is cream colored and nubby with silver metallic threads. Large squared off bow at waist on a strip of metallic silver. From inner shoulder seam across to inner shoulder seam is 10 inches. From front neckline to bottom of dress is 29 inches. From bottom of metallic silver strip at waist to floor is 21 inches. 24. Vintage 70's dress of dark green background with tiny orange squares. Short sleeves. Decorative orange buttons are at just below and more centered at shoulder. Front neck of dress to bottom of dress is 33 inches. At the hips there are these tabs that are 4 5/8 inches long. Measuring from outer shoulder seam directly across front to other outer shoulder seam is 14 ½ inches. Outer seam of sleeves is 9 inches long. Shoulder seams are 4 ½ inches wide. Size small.
25. Vintage royal blue velvet dress with a glittery silver neckline with large pearls - Decorative area around collar is 1 5/8 inches wide. Pearls are 3/8 inch diameter. Dress is sleeveless and is probably a size large. From front bottom of decorative neckline to bottom of dress is 34 inches. From base of dart to base of dart at breast area is approx. 18 inches. Shoulder seams are 4 7/8 inches wide. Top of armhole directly down to bottom of armhole is 6 ¾ inches. Waist is about 18 inches wide. Size large.
26. Fun yellow and lavender very textured dress. Lime green raised pattern all over dress. Back zip. 1960's or 70's. Sleeveless. Nehru collar with 4 buttons across shoulder on left side. Collar is 1 ¾ inches wide. Shoulder seams are 1 ¼ inch wide. 6 inch wide side panel. From base of collar in front to bottom of dress is 37 inches. Waist is about 17 inches wide measured flat from side to side. Size large.
27. Beautiful 50's cream brocade dress with Nehru collar with gold embellishment. Design of texture is oriental. Sleeveless. From bottom of collar there is a slit that is 5 ¾ inches long. At sleeveless hole for arm is a band of material ¾ inches wide. Shoulder seams are 4 ¾ inches wide. Two darts at breast are in a v shape. Each seam of dart is 5 inches long. From top of dart over to base of sleeve is 6 inches. Four darts at waist. From base of collar in front to bottom of dress is 38 inches. At top of v dart is 8 ½ inches between. Waist is about 17 inches wide measured flat side to side. There is a side slit that is embellished with gold. The embellished part is 14 inches long. Probably a size medium.
28. Purple dress from the 70's with small polka dots. Sleeveless. Purple, red and white stripes at waist and bottom of dress. Feels like rayon. Back zip. From outer shoulder seam straight across to outer shoulder seam is 13 ½ inches. Shoulder seams are 4 ¼ inches wide. Arm holes measuring at top straight down to bottom is 8 ¼ inch seam. Has a dart 4 inches long on each side at breast. From bottom of arm hole to bottom of other arm hole straight across is 16 inches. Waistband of white, red and purple is 1 ¼ inches wide. Red and purple stripes are 3/8 inches wide. Waist is about 14 inches wide side to side. From bottom of stripes at waist to top of stripes at bottom is 18 ½ inches. Size small. [Photo]
29. Orange polyester 70's dress brocaded with large white textured apples and the word "apple" in white cursive. Sleeveless with a 4 inch side panel under each arm. Two darts begin just under arm and go inward and then down below waist. Waist is about 14 ½ inches wide measured flat from side to side. Hips are approximately 16 inches wide. From front top of neckline to bottom of dress is 34 inches. Neck hole from inner shoulder seam across to other inner shoulder seam 6 ¼ inches. Dress says Size 12. [Photo]
30. Beautiful vintage black velvet dress that sits low on the shoulders and is sleeveless. Has a pretty peach satin piece at neckline that ties loosely in a knot at front. From peach part of neckline to other end of shoulder seam is 4 ½ inches. Hole for arm is 6 ¼ inches long measuring straight down from top to bottom. Has 2 side darts on breast that are 5 ½ inches long and 1 ½ inches apart. Waist is 14 inches wide measured flat from side to side. From bottom of peach satin neck to bottom of dress is 38 inches long. Neck hole from edge of peach satin to edge of peach satin is 15 inches wide. Probably a size medium. Limited rental.
31. Funky 70's sleeveless bronze and orange dress with huge flowers on it. Side zip. Tag reads: "Alice; Polynesian Fashions; Size large." Has 4 cloth buttons at top of left shoulder that are functional. From front neckline to bottom of dress is 32 inches long. Breast is 19 ¼ inches wide measuring at base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve. Has a dart on either side running diagonally up that do not meet and are 9 inches long. Shoulder seams are 5 inches wide. From outer shoulder seam directly across to outer shoulder seam is 16 ½ inches. From bottom of armhole down to bottom of dress is 27 inches. [Photo]
32. Black velvet '70's vintage dress. Tag reads: "Fashioned by Janie Mercer." Size medium. Long sleeves that widen at bottom. Across breast is a banding of seed pearls and gold that is 1 1/8 inches wide. There are two strips of the same banding near the bottom of the sleeves. Banding is also 1 1/8 inches wide. Shoulder seams are 4 5/8 inches wide. Sleeve lengths from shoulder seams down to bottom are 22 inches long. Inner sleeve length from base of armpit seam to bottom is 17 ¼ inches. From outer shoulder seam straight across to other outer shoulder seam is 14 ½ inches. Rounded v-neck that is about 71/2 inches long. From front bottom of neckline to bottom of dress is 42 ½ inches long.
33. Floor length light weight velvet gown in golden mustard. Has a line of seed pearls at breast. Kind of Renaissancey looking for a princess or a maiden. Back zip. Shoulder seams are 3 1/8 inches wide. From outer shoulder seam straight across to other outer shoulder seam is 14 ½ inches. Breast measured from base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve is 13 ½ inches. Outer sleeve length from shoulder seam down to bottom of sleeve is 20 ½ inches long. Inner sleeve length from armpit seam to bottom of sleeve is 15 ¾ inches long. From shoulder to the thin line of seeded pearls is about 12 inches. From armpit to seed pearls is 3 ¼ inches. 34. Funky dark green light weight velvet floor length dress with long sleeves. Back zip. Dress could be used for a "Mother Nature" costume. At high neckline there is a strip of light green leaves and circles just beneath a strip of gathered dark green velvet. Back zip. Shoulder seams are 5 ¾ inches wide. From edge of shoulder seam straight across to outer edge shoulder seam is 14 ½ inches. Outer sleeve length measured from edge of shoulder seam down is 24 inches long. Inner sleeve length measuring from armpit seam is 19 ½ inches long. End of sleeves are gathered with the same type of strip at neckline that is 1 ½ inches wide. 2 large V shaped darts over breast. Breast measured from base of sleeve across to base of other sleeve is 13. There is a 9 ¼ inch long by 1 1/3inch wide strip of the same light green leaves and circles at breast that does not go all the way across. The width of the dress at this point is 14 ½ inches wide side to side. There is a small but long bow in the middle of the strip of the light green leaves and circle. From front neckline to bottom of dress is 46 ½ inches. Hips are about 17 ½ inches wide measured flat from side to side. At side seam from armpit to floor is 38 inches long. 35. Vintage 70's sleeveless dress with a skirt of brown fake fur. Tag reads: "California Charmer by Charm of Hollywood; Size 11/12." Looks smaller than that to me. Back zip. Shoulder seams are 2 inches wide. Breast measured from base of sleeve directly across to base of other sleeve is 16 ¾ inches. Measures 10 inches down from base of sleeve and the dress is 16 inches across. Skirt of fur is 17 ½ inches long and measures 16 inches across.
36. Fun sleeveless short dress of black stretchy material with white vinyl. Not vintage but cool. Could be used as a costume for a go-go dancer. I have a pair of size 7 ½ ladies white go-go boots and different sizes of black and white ones. Dress is sleeveless. Tag reads: "Double Zero; 70% polyester and 30% rayon." Top part of dress is made of white vinyl with black stitching. Shoulder seams are 1 ¼ inches. From vinyl front center neckline to bottom of dress is 25 1/2 inches. There are two curving strips of white vinyl running from the level of the armpit curving towards the side at about between the waist and the hips. At the base of these white strips, the dress measures 15 inches across from side to side. The dress is size small.
37. Bright orange chiffon '50's or '60's dress with swirly beading on top. Sleeveless; back zip; no tag. Gathers at waist with a sash that is 1 inch wide. Four gathers at waist. There is a dart at breast from each side that is 3 inches long and 12 inches apart. Dart is 2 1/8 inches down from armpit. From top center of neckline to waist is 11 3/8 inches. From waist to bottom of gown is 26 ½ inches. Waist is 14 ½ inches. At about hip level 5 inches below waist is 15-18 inches wide. (It stretches.) Size medium to large. [Photo]
38. 70's lightweight brown velvet dress; floor length with long sleeves. Neckline is cream lace over cream. Empire waist measures 8 ½ inches side to side. Has three thin strips of brown velvet ribbon that are 5/8 inch wide. At center of each of the brown ribbons is a flower that is ½ inch in diameter. There is a gathered ruffle over top of sleeves. There is a thin strip of cream colored lace at the top of the neckline that is ¼ inch thick. Next is a 1 inch wide section of cream lace over cream material. Next is a section of cream colored material that is 2 ¼ inch wide at shoulder and 7/8 of an inch at the front to the first horizontal brown ribbon. The brown ribbon is then 3/8 of an inch. Then there is a strip of material that is 5/8 inches long down to another brown ribbon, etc. down through 3 ribbons total. From waist to bottom of dress is 51 inches long. Sleeves are lace over skin down to cuff which is lace over cream and 2 ½ inches long. Top of outer sleeve to cuff is 15 ½ inches long. Probably size small.
39. Cream colored silky feeling long '50's dress that is very full from the waist down. Unfortunately, it has some very small rust colored stains. The dress has a collar and short sleeves. Edge of shoulder seam to edge of shoulder seam straight across is 15 inches. There are three large pretty plastic flower buttons down center at breast that are 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Just the center part of flowers of tiny circles is 1/8 inch diameter. The waist is higher in the center than at the sides. Measuring from side of waist to bottom is 40 inches long. 40. Vintage 70's brown ribbed dress with cream colored skirt has a double black ribbon at top of skirt and bottom of skirt and a double strip of it running down the middle. Back zip. No tag. Sleeves are 4 ½ inches long measured from the shoulder seam down top of sleeve. Inner sleeve is 1 ¾ inches long. Hole in sleeve is five inches measured from top to bottom. Breast is 14 ¾ inches wide measured from base of sleeve to base of sleeve straight across. Brown strip that runs horizontally across from hip to hip is 1 5/8 inches wide and 15 ½ inches long. Ribbons are 5/8 inches each. From top of dress beginning at the center neckline to bottom of dress is 32 inches. From the bottom of the brown ribbon at the waist to the neck section of ribbon is 12 1/3 inches. Bottom horizontal strip of material with top and bottom of ribbon is an 11/2 inches from top to bottom. Hips measured 3 inches below brown ribbon above is 16 ½ inches from side to side. Size small. 41. Short sleeveless glittery dress of silver. Back zip. Tag reads: "Alfred Weber of St. Louis." Shoulder seams are 2 inches wide. From inner shoulder seam to inner shoulder seam straight across is 10 inches. There are side panels with two darts coming off of them at the breast. The panels round in the back out past hips. Breast measured from dart seam under arm straight across to dart seam under other arm is 13 ½ inches. Waist is approximately 15 inches measured side to side. (15 inches above bottom of dress.) Dress length measured from center of front neckline is 17 ½ inches. Bottom of dress is 17 ½ inches measured side to side. Dart of side panel ends 5 inches above bottom of dress.
42. Light tan short sleeve vintage dress. 1950's. Has about 3 ½ inch wide lace insert across breast and across hips. Some of the netting in the lace is starting to break down. Looks pretty small.
43. 2 piece vintage brown dress that was Jean Weaver's mother's wedding outfit in 1942. Has a lace collar pinned on that was not original to the dress. The skirt has tiny buttons up the back instead of a zipper. Long sleeves. Tag reads, "Original Franklin Salon Fashion-Chicago." Probably a size small. Has 6 decorative horizontal seams over bodice and 4 large ivory colored buttons. Limited rental.
44. 60's cream colored floor length sleeveless dress. Has an empire waist. Made of dotted Swiss. Has 6 cloth buttons down back and a bow and a zipper. No tag. Size small.
45. Men's large silk brown and burgundy dressing gown robe. 1940's. "Marks Men's Shop; 5 Arcade; Everything Men Wear. Nashville, TN."
46. Beautiful 1940's style coral satin gown. Floor length and covered with layers of tassel on the bodice. Back zip.
47. 1930's floor length dress with a red velvet skirt and cream top with gold. Cloth buttons up front with loops for button holes. Limited rental. One of my prettiest dresses. Very small.
48. 1940's floor length gown. Bodice is red velvet with ¾ length sleeves. Skirt part is black and white vertical stripe silk. "Styled by Dorian;" Size 12 (more like a 4-6). My prettiest dress. Limited rental.
49. Beautiful 1940's black and mauve taffeta street length dress. Bodice of dress is mauve with black fine lace over it. Short sleeves. Size small to medium. Very elegant. Limited rental.
50. White 1 piece bathing suit from the 1950's or 60's "Oscar de la Renta Swimwear; size 8."
51. Mauvish brown 1940's style floor length dress with a gathering between the breasts. Short jacket made of same material with short sleeves. Not real old but old styled. Looks really good on. "Jody of California; size 7." Silky polyester.
52. Red long sleeve Jackie style dress from the 1950's or 60's. Street length; long sleeves; back zip. Material feels like flocking. "Tabak of California." Size small.
53. Beautiful cream and black dress from the 1940's Bodice and the long sleeves are cream colored with a lot of texture. Skirt of dress is black. Back zip. Would go well with my old black hat with the very old lace. (Looks like an Eliza Doolittle hat.).
54. Sleeveless floor length 1970's dress. Black, brown & green. Empire waist. Stretchy material. Rayon or silky polyester With lycra Size small.
55. Yellow floor length 1970's dress. Looks great on. Silky polyester Ties under breast from front to back. Back zip. Size small.
56. Black sleeveless 70's one piece jumpsuit. Soft polyester Hooks around back of neck. Has black & white braided cording at collar and then hangs down loosely. Back zip. Size small. Fun outfit.
57. Funky, large, busy 70's blazer. Long sleeves with collar and pockets. Very 60's or 70's. Wild kind of Aztec design of brown, rust, black and cream. Heavy weight material. Unlined. Barnsville Probably a man's jacket but could be worn by a lady that is size large.
58. Busy light weight velvet ladies' blazer. Brown, cream and orange paisley design. Has 2 button. "Barefoot Fashions; California." Size small to medium.
59. Black sleeveless floor-length dress with sexy cut-outs around waist and between breasts. Not very old but cool. Size 4. "JR Nites by Caliendo." Rayon and acetate. Has a slit up front.
60. Light yellow floor length 1970's dress made of silky polyester or rayon. Sleeveless with a high gathered waist. Decorative yellow loops at neckline made of same fabric. Has a short jacket also made of same material that has long sleeves. Has loops of same material at bottom of jacket and at wrists. Looks very good on. Back zip. Size small to medium.
61. White sleeveless floor length gown from the 1970's. Top of dress is white with white crocheted flowery lace over top of it. High waist with an orange velvet squared off bow. Skirt is sheer and lined. Size small to medium.

Has belt loops. 6 button vest has shoulder seams that are 3 ¼ inches wide. Measuring vest from top of middle back collar down is 20 ½ inches long. Single breasted 3 button jacket with wide collar. Jacket sleeves are 23 inches long measuring down top arm seam. Width of each shoulder seam is 6 ¾ inches. Collar is 5 inches at widest. Jacket is lined at sides only. Ornamental small yellow patches as follows: a small blue rectangle with gold rim, etc. Sleeves are 17 inches long measured on the seam underneath the arm. 25 inches long on the top of the arm, although there is no seam. Jacket is 32 inches long measured in back from top of collar down.

Jacket has a rhinestone clasp at bottom near waist. Measuring from top of back collar of the jacket down is 17 inches long. Under sleeve seam is 11 ½ inches long. Bottom of jacket which is above the waist is 15 inches wide. Measuring from top of shoulder strap down, the dress is 38 inches long.

108. Cream color 1940's style dress Made of silky, stretchy material that drapes well. Back zip. Long sleeves that are gathered about 4 inches above wrists. Tag reads: "Tadashi; Saks Fifth Avenue." Size 6. Top of sleeves are oversize (Dolman) and are 11 ½ inches wide. The outer arm seam is 28 inches long. The dress is 42 inches long measuring from the back top middle down. On the right shoulder there is a decorative silver beaded ornament that is 4 ½ inches long, 1 ¾ inches wide at widest & ¾ inches wide at narrowest. A short train falls back behind that right shoulder from this. The train is 19 inches at shortest and 28 ¼ inches long at longest. There is another ornament on the left hip that holds the other end of the draping fabric. This ornament is 4 ½ inches long, 1 ½ inches wide at top and ½ inches wide at bottom.
109. Orange '60's baby doll dress In very good condition. Sleeveless and has 2 layers. The top layer is chiffon and is gathered just below the banded collar in front and in back. The banded collar has silver metallic beading and is 2 inches wide. Shoulder seams are 3 ½ inches wide. Shoulder seams plus banded collar are 5 inches wide on each side. Zip back with 3 eye hooks at top. The second layer is the same color and is lined. It extends 4 inches below top layer. It has silver beading design all the way around it.
